CD writing facilities in PC classrooms
There is now a facility for writing to and copying CDs in some of the PC classrooms. The facility is available on the new IBM PCs installed last summer. The IBMs are in the Library, Butts Wynd, Swallowgate, Physics and United Colleges (formerly Modern Languages) classrooms, and the English Postgraduate classroom.
The software for creating and copying the CDs is available through the Start Menu on these machines.
One additional thing to note is that you are not permitted to make illegal copies of copyright CDs - CD copying activity is logged by the software.
