Second award for University e-commerce development

Following the UCISA commendation earlier this year, SAEF (St Andrews E-commerce Facility), has been placed second in the competition run by EUNIS (European Universities Information Systems) under their Elite Award for Excellence scheme. The goal of the EUNIS Elite Award for Excellence in implementing Administrative Information Systems for Higher Education is to provide recognition to colleges and universities that exemplify best practices in implementing administrative information systems.

The team who developed the system was led by Ester Ruskuc and consisted of Heidi Fraser-Krauss, Kevin Thomson and Mary Woodcock-Kroble with help from Stuart Burnet in Finance. The project was funded under the Knowledge Economy Task Force initiative run by SHEFC.

The results of the competition will be announced at the EUNIS annual conference in Amsterdam at the beginning of July, where SAEF will receive an Honourable Mention.
