Viglen student PC offer

The University's main PC supplier is currently Viglen. They have recently introduced a series of three models which is aimed the student market. The prices range from £649 to £999 (inclusive of VAT).

The Bizpro W is the entry level machine with a 300 MHz processor, 32 MB memory, 3.2 GB hard disk, floppy drive, 32-speed CD drive and 14" colour monitor along with MS Windows 95 or 98 and Microsoft Works.

There are optional items available at attractive prices e.g. an Epson printer at £99 and Microsoft Office at £99, both inclusive of VAT.

There is a demonstration machine in the user area of the John Honey Building. Viglen machines (although not the same models) are in use in the PC classrooms in Psychology, Modern Languages and Swallowgate.
