Partner medical schools

The School of Medicine has partnerships with six medical schools across the UK. Students on the Medicine BSc (Hons) A100 programme will progress to one of these schools upon graduating from St Andrews to undertake their final three years of training and graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB/MBBS).

Students will be allocated depending on their chosen course pathway, location preference and academic performance in the first semester of second year at St Andrews.

Applicants who are overseas for fee purposes will progress to Manchester Medical School for the final three years of the programme; there are no places for overseas students at any of the other partner medical schools.

Prospective students should consider the different medical school options available for their final years of study before submitting their application to the programme.
