Direct entry to second year Statistics MMath (Hons) 2020 entry
It is possible for students applying for the Statistics MMath single Integrated Masters degree to enter directly into the second year of study, meaning you will complete your degree in only four years instead of five.
This popular option is offered to students with excellent Advanced Higher, A-Level or International Baccalaureate qualifications.
Students who enter directly to second year will take modules required by the Statistics MMath programme from second year on, bypassing first-year modules entirely.
If your qualifications will be sufficient for second-year entry, you can either choose to apply for it directly or to apply for first-year entry and then upgrade on arrival. If you have a question about entry requirements or direct entry to second year, please contact Mathematics at maths-admissions@st-andrews.ac.uk.
