Direct entry to second year Physics MPhys (Hons) 2020 entry

Applications for 2020 entry for this course have now closed, see which courses are available for the upcoming academic year.

It is possible for students applying for the Physics MPhys (Hons) single Integrated Masters degree to enter directly into the second year of study, meaning you will complete your degree in only four years instead of five.

This option is offered to students with excellent Advanced Higher, A-Level or International Baccalaureate qualifications.

Students who enter directly to second year may take modules required by the Physics MPhys programme from second year on, bypassing some or all first-year modules.

Direct entry students will have the opportunity to study abroad during their second year of study.

To find out more information, or to discuss the possibility of direct entry to second year, please contact the School of Physics and Astronomy.
