Direct entry to second year Pure Mathematics MMath (Hons) 2019 entry

It is possible for students applying for the Pure Mathematics MMath integrated Masters degree to enter directly into the second year of study, meaning you will complete your degree in only four years instead of five.

This popular option is offered to students with excellent Advanced Higher, A-Level or International Baccalaureate qualifications.

Students who enter directly to second year will take modules required by the Pure Mathematics MMath programme from second year on, bypassing first-year modules entirely.

Direct entry students will have the opportunity to study abroad during their third year of study.

To find out more information, or to discuss the possibility of direct entry to second year, please contact the School of Mathematics and Statistics

Applications for 2019 entry for this course have now closed, see which courses are available for the upcoming academic year.
